Renewal App

This document describes the procedure for renewing the already subscribed or expired plans.

Renewal App can be used to renew the already subscribed plans and expired subscriptions too. Your customers can renew their subscription even before its expiry. Use of this application requires you to enable its plugin from the plugin manager available at the back-end.

Renewal of subscription can be done according to the following cases only:

  1. Fixed Plans: If the plan subscribed by the customer has a fixed time of expiry, then the subscription can be renewed on both the subscription status i.e. "Active" and "Expired".
  2. Recurring Plans: If the plan subscribed by the customer has recurring type of expiry, then the renewal can be done only after the expiry of the subscription.
  3. Forever Plans: If the plan subscribe by the customer has forever time for expiry, then it's subscription can't be renewed.

The renewal app can be configured as:

Step 1: Go to plugin manager and enable the plugin "Payplans-Renewal" for Renewal app.

Step 2: Now, move onto Payplans App section and create Renewal app.

Step 3: Enter the details asked in the Renewal App screen.

Step 4: You can either select certain plans on which renewal will be provided or set this app as core app to provide renewal for all the existing plans.

Step 5: Now, move onto Payplans dashboard at front-end and select the subscription which you want to renew. Subscription detail screen will display a "Renew" link, click on that link to proceed renewal.
