How to Integrate Docman with PayPlans

PayPlans integration with DOCman.

DOCman restrict users to access or upload documents or files in all categories. But if it is required that user have access to upload, edit or download documents as on subscription status as-

• On Subscription Active :- Allowed to upload or access document or not?
• On Subscription Hold :- Allowed to upload or access document or not?
• On Subscription Expired :- Allowed to upload or access document or not?

These kind of possibilities can be achieved by Integrating DOCman with PayPlans. By using PayPlans you can group users into different groups according to subscription status and using DOCman you can allow uploads only can be done by a particular group.

Scenarios

Scenario 1:
If your scenario is as when user will subscribe a plan only after subscription active user can upload documents into categories and as after subscription will become expired user can't even view uploaded documents then for this you have to make a group like Group1. Group1 members can upload documents and after subscription expiration user will not remain member of Group1 so can't upload documents and even can’t view documents.

When subscription is ACTIVE:

Scenario 2:
If your scenario is as when user will subscribe a plan only after subscription active user can upload documents into categories and as after subscription will become expired user only able to view uploaded documents then for this you have to make a 2 groups like Group1 and Group2. Group1 members can upload documents and after subscription expiration user will became member of Group2 so can't upload documents but able to view documents.

Steps to setting it up

1. Install PayPlans
   
2. Install DOCman.
3. To use DOCman with PayPlans create a new instance of DOCman app its a core app.
   
   
4. Fill its parameter as according to your requirement like-
   
   
5. To show on dashboard that in which group user belongs to, make dashboard widget.
   
   
6. Choose DOCman in Widget App .
