General queries and info for administration of PayPlans.

DASHBOARD:-

What is cURL module?

It is a compulsory library for use of PayPlans. cURL is abbreviation for "Client for Uniform Resource Locator". It is library of PHP and is used for managing URLs, Https and many more functionalities are nested under this library.

Which server PayPlans use? Is it compatible with others?

PayPlans use PHP servers. Currently, it is using PHP 5.2.9 and above versions.

What is payment gateway app?

Payment Gateway App can be used to exchange money matters over Internet by using payment gateways like PayPal, Authorize.Net, 2CheckOut and many others.

What is admin pay app?

This app lets the administrator to conduct payment transactions from the backend itself.

What does "Import Data" tab show?

Import Data tab encapsulates three options by default (AmbraSubs, AEC, Amember and Sample) for the administrator so that he can perform migration of user's data from AmbraSubs, AMember and AEC to PayPlans. Sample button lets the administrator to install sample or dummy information into the PayPlans.

What does Setup Checklist show?

Setup Checklist checks the setup rules during the installation of PayPlans.

What is Chart Type for?

Chart Type allows administrators to view active subscriptions, amount received per plan, revenue per plan and sales per plan. These details can be viewed on yearly, monthly, weekly and daily basis.

What can search box search?

The search box can search for orders, subscriptions and payment related data with their related keys and ids. It can also search for users through their respective ids and usernames.

What does the large dark grey section (with some numeric figures) on dashboard show?

The dark black numeric figures shows current revenue, current sales and current active subscriptions information of the current period to the administrators of PayPlans. And, the lighter black figures shows the same details of the previous period.

CONFIGURATION:-

What does log tab show?

Log tab shows the changes you have made under the Configuration tab. It shows the log message with details, the modifier (user) of the configuration, level of the log, IP address of the user and the time of modification.

What does Registration Integration do?

It lets the user to register on PayPlans by choosing any of the three mediums (Quick payPlans, Jomsocial, Others) available.

What is Cron?

Cron is a prewritten program which gets triggered to perform certain tasks after every pre-setted time duration. It can be assumed as a pre-written program which marks the activation or expiry of a user's subscription.

What are dummy orders in Expert Settings?

Dummy orders are those orders which were ordered by users but, are not used by them for a long time. Sometimes, users subscribe to plan(s) but do not use it. Thus, we provide a facility to delete such dummy orders after a certain period of time (1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 15 days, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year).

What is use of Https (SSL)?

Https is used to transfer you towards a secured Internet connection where you are least prone to threats. SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer.

What is renew link for?

It asks the administrator whether to show a web link on the dashboard of user's account to re-activate an expired or about to expire subscription.

What objects can I block in Block Logging?

The objects for which logging can be blocked consist of Configuration, Cron, Order, Group, Plan, Subscriptions, Payment, Apps, etc.

What is Auto Complete Order for?

It is used to automatically complete the subscription of order(s) after the reception of payment. It can be enabled or disabled depending upon administrator's choice.

During customization, I uploaded new logo image but, I can't view it's preview. What is the reason and what should I do now?

The reason for it is that, because the database contains the previously uploaded image that's why it will show you the preview of the previous image.

To resolve this issue, you should upload your currently chosen image and re-visit the page to view its preview.

First, I chose currency as USD($) in Configuration -> Localization but, now I have chosen some other currency and after this I am not able to view this newly chosen currency on my subscriptions plans and on other contents. What can I do to resolve this?

Because you are supposed to choose default currency once, hence, it will be used everywhere.

To resolve this, you should go to the "Plans" tab, select individual plans and re-save them. Surely, the newly selected currency will be reflected there.

PLANS:-

What is filter for?

Rather to look for a single plan in a list of millions of available plans, filter can be used to search and view desired plans hastily.

Under Associations, what does Groups show?

"Groups" lets you group your newly created or selected plans. On doing so, the new plan will appear nested under the parent (Group).

What is redirect URL?

This field lets the administrator to enter a valid URL where the subscribed user will be redirected after his/her subscription completes.

What can I do with CSS classes?

This field lets you use inbuilt classes to apply corner badges on your plans. For example, Hot, New, Featured, Popular, Top, etc can be applied as corner badges on your advertisement of plans. The purpose is to highlight your plans to your customers.

SUBSCRIPTIONS:-

What is filter for?

This filter is little bit different from filters available on other tabs. It allows you to filter your search by choosing the "Subscription Date" and "Expiration Date" and hence, shows you the results in that specified time duration.

What does Extend button do?

You can extend the expiration or re-activate the expired plan(s) till the newly selected date or the time period. To use this feature, you must first select one or more available subscribed plan(s).

ORDERS:-

What is subtotal for?

It is the cost of plan before the calculation of taxes and discount applied on that plan.

PAYMENTS:-

What does created date under filter show?

It shows the date of creation of the payment for a particular subscribed plan chosen by user.

What is modified date for?

It is the date on which the payment was modified by the administrator.

APPS:-

When I click on any app then, I see "Parameters" in right column. What are these parameters?

The details maintained by an app are listed under this section.

USERS:-

What is "PARAMS" on selecting any user?

It consists of "Notes". Here you can maintain a log of activities done on the selected user.

LOGS:-

What are different types of log levels?

There can be 4 types of log levels:

  • Information log
  • Notice log
  • Warning log
  • Error log
